Good Friday Prayer & Communion
Friday, March 29th from 8:00pm to 1:00pm
Good Friday is an essential reflective day for the Christ-follower. It is a day where we remember the suffering, the death, but most importantly, the reality-altering life-changing sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Good Friday is a day set aside in our year to remember His sacrifice for us, to reflect on what it personally cost Him, and to remind our hearts what it should mean/cost us as we seek to follow Him.
The impact of Good Friday and Easter does not grow dim, but too often, our memory of their impact does. Today, to awaken our hearts toward the beauty of His sacrifice, we meditate and reflect on the grace-filled gift of His body and blood for us. We reflect today to prepare our hearts for remembering His resurrection at Easter. Through our mediation and reflection on Good Friday, we might begin to know better the cost that had to be paid to experience this eternal joy that we celebrate at Easter. Today we meditate, hoping that we may surrender our lives more fully to Him today and every day to come. On this Good Friday, we seek to understand, remember, and begin to live out the joy and victory of His resurrection that we celebrate on Easter Sunday every day.
This year join us in person from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, March 29th for a come and go communion and prayer time.
Don’t forget to join us for our Easter services Sunday, March 31st @ 9:00am & 10:45am.
